Short Information: The Assam Public Service Commission has released the official notification for the recruitment of JUNIOR ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL) posts under the PUBLIC WORKS (BUILDING & NATIONAL HIGHWAYS) DEPARTMENT, ASSAM.

Eligible candidates can apply online from 11 MAY 2026 to 10 JUNE 2026 through the official website.

  • Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and Permanent Resident of Assam.
  • 3-Year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institute.
  • Candidates must upload PRC or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued in Assam.


Pay Scale
  • ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/- Per Month
  • Grade Pay: ₹8,700/-
  • Pay Band: Pay Band-2
  • Other allowances as admissible under Assam Government Rules.

  • Photograph and signature should be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format as per the prescribed size.
  • Verify all entered details using the Preview option before final submission.
  • Pay the applicable application fee through online payment mode.
  • After successful submission, take a printout of the final submitted application form for future reference.
  • Candidates may also use Common Service Centres (CSCs) for form submission.
