Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the JHTET 2026 Notification on its official website.
The online application process will be conducted from 21 April 2026 to 21 May 2026.
Candidates are advised to read the official information brochure for complete details regarding eligibility, syllabus, exam pattern, fees, and Primary/Junior Level before applying.

- 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.
- 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002
- 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
- Intermediate 10+2 Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education.)
- Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./DELED.

- Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./ D.El.Ed.)
- Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri (Regular)
- Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri (Regular)), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education)
- Master Degree with 55% Marks and 3 Year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed Course.
