• Visit the official SSC website – ssc.gov.in.
• Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the new website if not already done. (Old OTR from ssc.nic.in is not compatible).
• Log in using your Registration Number and Password.
• Click the “Apply” link under the “Senior Secretariat Assistant / Upper Division Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2025 (CSCS, DoPT)” link in the Live Exam tab.
• Select your Service/Cadre as Central Secretariat Clerical Service, DoPT.
• Enter your joining date in the feeder service, length of service, and details of typewriting test (passed date, roll number, or exemption details).
• Capture a live photograph using your webcam or smartphone as instructed (pre-existing photo upload is not permitted).
• Upload your scanned signature (JPEG, 10-20 KB, 6 cm x 2 cm) and other mandatory service documents.
• Preview all details carefully and submit the application form.
• Take a printout of the submitted form.
• Offline Submission: Forward the printed application along with required documents through your Head of Department / Head of Office to SSC (NR), New Delhi, to reach latest by 23 July 2026 (6:00 PM).
