UPTET Online Form 2026
Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 Notification (Adv. No. 01/UPTET/2026) on its official website.
The examination will be conducted on 02, 03, and 04 July 2026. The application process started on 27 March 2026, and candidates can apply online till 26 April 2026.
UPTET is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in primary and upper primary schools in Uttar Pradesh.

| UPESSC Uttar Pradesh TET Examination 2026 : Eligibility Criteria |
| TET Primary Teacher (Class 1-5) |
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from an NCTE-recognized institution along with a valid teacher training qualification such as BTC, B.El.Ed, or equivalent. Final-year candidates are also eligible. In general, a minimum of 50% marks in graduation or the relevant training program is required.

| TET Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8) |
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% in some cases as per rules) from an NCTE-recognized institution along with a valid teacher training qualification such as B.Ed, BTC, B.El.Ed, or equivalent. Final-year candidates of these courses are also eligible. Additionally, candidates with specialized education qualifications (like Special Education) from RCI-recognized institutes are eligible. In some cases, candidates with 50% marks in intermediate and a 4-year integrated teaching program can also apply.
